Carcinoma in the Lacrimal Sac: Eduardo's Inspiring Story
Squamous cell carcinoma (SCC) in the lacrimal sac is a rare but highly aggressive disease. This type of cancer originates in the epithelium of the lacrimal sac and can quickly spread to nearby structures such as the eyelids, eye orbit, and paranasal sinuses.
Its invasive behavior makes it a medical challenge, often requiring radical surgery, radiotherapy, chemotherapy, and, in some cases, immunotherapy or targeted therapies.
A Turning Point: Seeking Alternatives
For Eduardo, this diagnosis came unexpectedly. It all started with persistent tearing in his left eye, which was soon accompanied by inflammation. An initial diagnosis of a blocked tear duct led to surgery, during which a biopsy confirmed squamous cell carcinoma. The tumor, already 5 centimeters in size, was invading adjacent structures and had metastasized to the lymph nodes.
The initial medical recommendation was an extensive surgery involving the removal of the left eye, cleaning of the upper jaw, and dissection of the neck's lymph nodes. However, Eduardo, just 45 years old, decided to look for a less invasive alternative. In his heart, he felt there had to be another way.
That’s when he found an integrative doctor who introduced him to a different approach: natural therapies, intravenous infusions, herbal teas, green juices, vitamins, and a ketogenic diet. This doctor referred him to a neurosurgeon who utilized innovative radiofrequency technology known as ZAP-X, complemented with ozone therapy, high doses of vitamin C, and adaptogens.
Faith as the Pillar of Healing
Throughout the process, Eduardo clung to his faith in the Holy Spirit and Jesus, finding the strength to face his challenges. After the ZAP-X treatment, his doctor recommended a one-month waiting period to evaluate the results. During this time, Eduardo traveled to Hawaii, where he continued his natural therapies and immersed himself in deep spiritual and mental work.
The Miracle of Healing
Upon his return, a new MRI revealed the most anticipated news: the tumor had disappeared. “I knew I was going to heal, but I didn’t think it would happen so quickly,” Eduardo says. This incredible outcome reflected a combination of integrative treatments, personal determination, and unwavering faith.
